git.musicpd.org account policy

This git server aims to host the MPD project and related projects (e.g. clients).

If you want a git account, send a request to the mailing list, with the following information:

1. real name
2. email address
3. preferred user name
4. projects you wish to work on
5. SSH public key(s) (as attachment or URL, do not copy and paste)

We recommend all contributors to subscribe to the mailing list.

We reserve the right to remove any account and/or repositories if

• they contain content that is illegal to host in Germany
• they violate the given project(s) license
• we feel they violate the KISS principle
• we feel they are not consistent with project goals
• they are needlessly wasting disk space or bandwidth
